A benchmark for water purity

  • Virginality indicates how protected a water is from the external environment eg nitrates.
  • Only tests can determine the nitrate levels in natural mineral water. The lower the levels, the lower the exterior influence; the better the water.
  • Åre Water contains less than 0,5 mg/l nitrates, allowing for the highest possible classification – Superior.

Åre Source

FROM THE HEART OF ÅRE

Åre’s crisp alpine landscape provides a unique environment for natural filtration. Layers of rock and sand, dating back to the Ice Age, has slowly been shaping the purity of the water. Being a historic health resort known for its fresh air and clean water, Åre is untouched by industry, large-scale agriculture and major highways.
